Seattle Aquarium Volunteer Work
Because of my love for marine science, I have volunteered and interned at the Seattle Aquarium for the past three years, devoting over 200+ hours. I began as a public interpreter and tour guide. A year later, I began to teach "Enrichment", giving presentations over various aspects of marine science. The Aquarium provided me with a base of knowledge and experience that aids me in my IB biology and chemistry classes, as well as my opportunity with the Nautilus program. Most importantly, my work at the Aquarium provides me the opportunity to be creative while educating and inspiring families on aspects of marine science and global conservation.

Currently, I perform as an interpreter and mentor as well as help develop and orchestrate marine science educational sessions for families with young children.
Curiosity motivates me to continuously acquire more knowledge about all aspects of marine science in my free time. I am constantly seeking out new opportunities for hands-on experience. This allows me to provide a unique perspective and information to the public on both a conversational and professional level.
